Fela Durotoye is the Managing Partner of V.I.P CONSULTING LIMITED. He is a Computer Scientist and an Economist by training who has acquired financial and management consulting experience with VENTURES & TRUSTS LIMITED, where he was a venture capital and project finance analyst, involved in the setting up and management of several venture capital projects including Academy Press Business Forms Limited and Best Oils Limited.
Fela took up a Masters degree in Business Administration during which time he understudied the Management of Change in Complex Organizations. He brought this experience to bear in the area of Business Process Re-engineering for some major TQM implementation projects in PHILLIPS CONSULTING where he excelled to head the Customer Service Group. Having concluded an M.Phil degree programme, Fela Durotoye set up his own Management Consulting Practice and today, V.I.P CONSULTING, has grown into a household name in Nigeria assisting its clients create visible improvement in their service delivery culture through training and consulting interventions.
Some organisations that presently entrust their people & service delivery issues to V.I.P Consulting include Guaranty Trust Bank, FSB International Bank, Access Bank, Liberty Bank, African Express Bank, NNB International Bank, Oceanic Bank, Platinum Bank, All States Trust Bank, Fidelity Bank, and Prudent Bank.
In 2003 Fela received a mandate from the ECOWAS secretariat to prepare a 5-year plan for youth empowerment & employment in the 15 member states and he was the celebrated speaker at the 2003 ECOWAS Regional youth conference with over 1500 youth from 15 member states in attendance.
Fela Durotoye is the recipient of the 2004 Excellence in Consulting Award given by NIPRO (Nigerian Professionals).
